Abstract
Microarraygene expression technology has become a de facto standard for highthroughput phenotyping. This technology requires seriousbioinformatics research and support and advanced softwaredevelopment. Typically, microarray data analysis entails three stepsof computerized processing, raw data preprocessing (e.g.normalization, background correction), statistical analyses of thepreprocessed data and lastly, "meta-analysis".Meta-analysis refers to the process attempting to produce biologicalmeanings from the statistically determined up or down regulatinggenes. Currently there is no clear winning method of conducting thismeta-analysis. Our goal has been producing an integrative method thatcombines multiple techniques such as pattern based clustering,pathway analysis, binding site analysis and Gene Ontology analysis. This presentation will focus on illustrating each technique of thiscombined strategy and discussing its overall effectiveness in helpingbiologists interpret the computational analysis outcome. Theillustration and discussion will be based upon routine applicationsof the techniques to the stem cell research currently being conductedat the University of Connecticut Health Center.
관심있으신분들은... 오세열~ ^^;;
이거 이러다 자대학원생들보다 외부분들이 더 많아 지는거 아냐;; ㅋㅋ
